Over the over five years we’ve lived in our home we’ve had many issues with the quality of the materials and construction, but this last cold spell has caused our windows to start cracking for no apparent reason. I’ve never heard of this being a problem before with any other window, but I have tried to contact the manufacturer of the windows, PATRIOT MANUFACTUING, as K HOVNANIAN is now only responsible for the basic structure and foundation.

Please, if anyone is considering purchasing a K HOVNANIAN home, BUYER BEWARE!!! It is constructed of the VERY CHEAPEST of EVERYTHING available, from the lack of house wrap, to the windows. They are STILL REPOURING CONCRETE after almost SIX YEARS!!!

Back before the development was finished, Mr. Hovnanian used to helicopter in and walk up the street to the admin building to check on the progress of the site.

I’d love to see him stop by now!!!
