Ryan and Reed, Inc complaint and general information

For the last three years of my life I have been

harassed by a collection "agency" known as Ryan &

Reed, Inc, sometimes going by the name Ryan and Reed

Legal Associates. I have had well over 100 calls from

there collectors screaming and cursing at me into the

phone. Many of these calls took place between 5 am

and 6am, Alaska Standard Time. They have threatened

to sue me, call my employer, call "the sheriff" on me,

and have called me numerous derogatory names. When I

first began dealing with this institution they claimed

to be located in Texas, but I would like to state for

the record that they are not. I have done a detailed

investigation regarding this institution and Im sorry

to say that all of the information they provide is

completely false. I spent many days and hours

investigating there practices on the internet. There

collection actions are definitely illegal and

certainly qualify for harassment. I encourage anyone

who has had any interaction with Ryan and Reed, Inc.,

regardless of there circumstances, to please come

forward and tell there story. I encourage everyone to

make a formal complaint to the Federal Trade

Commission and the Better Business Bureau in both

Texas and Florida. Contact a attorney if you must,

but do not ever give these people money. From my many

days and hours of investigating Ryan and Reed I have

discovered that very few, if any,of the businesses

that they collect for ever receive a dime from them.

However, the businesses they claim to collect for can

do very little to acquire the outstanding debt back to

them once they have handed it over to Ryan and Reed,

Inc. Most of the business end there ties with Ryan

and Reed, only to have them continue to agressively

collect there money and then pocket it fully for

themselves. I beg of anyone that interacts with these

people to record the phone calls they receive from

them and keep a detailed log of names and interactions

with them. Class-action lawsuits happen everyday of

the week and everyone who is being harassed by these

people needs to standup to them and demand to stop

being bullied, regardless of the fact that you may

actually owe someone money. I have included the

actual location and phone number of Ryan and Reed, Inc

in this email. I encourage you to expose to them that

you are aware of where there business is actually

located and that you will not tolerate there

harassment and threats.

Most people who have received calls from this

institution receive a 800 # and address that is

located in Texas, although that information is false

and is merely a third party mailing address. The call

center and actual location of the business is the

address stated above. I spent many days attempting to

acquire this information and slowly found it. It

proved to be quite simple in the end. I simply went

to monster.com and pretended to be someone applying

for a job with them and the information came pouring

in. Yes, Im 100% sure that this is the correct Ryan

and Reed, Inc that provides agressive collection

efforts that are both illegal and in my opinion -

immoral. Im sure many of you have called the 800#

and heard there greeting of "Professional Offices!",

this is the same people. If anyone receives calls

from them living in the state of Florida I strongly

urge you to go and speak to them face to face at the

address above. Yes, there collection practices are

illegal and you do have the right to call the police

and file harassment charges if you live in the state

of Florida or elsewhere. If anyone would like to
