Emirates Airlines.
The South African Office:
Totally "useless" - phoned them repeatedly requesting a call back but to no avail. This is a bout lost baggage for Mr. Keith Robson who flew from Johannesburg International Airport last Friday 9yj December to Dubai en route to JFK, New York. Luggage was lost and still to this day not found.
I noticed that some people have waited 45 days, so I guess we still have more agony ahead of us? Mr. Robson is in Canada on holiday and had to buy more winter cloths as all his are still missing. What a holiday!!
Worst is that the local office does not take your calls as their voice mail boxes are full and there "are no operator available to take your call"
Suggest that Emirates "pack their bags and go home" as they are obviously not interested in treating their customers with dignity and respect.
None of my family / friends and business acquaintances will ever fly Emirates again.
In the meantime, how long must we wait before they will contact us, if ever? And if not, how will they entertain a claim? Or worse case scenario, if we take them to court, will they appear in front of the Magistrate?
If you have any means / ways of getting someone to contact us, i would appreciate it very much, failing which I will have no option but to sue the local office.
