I can not recall ever receiving such terrible service. I recently went computer hunting and made the mistake of attempting to make my purchase at an MDG store. To start off the salesman was really pushy and kept trying to upsell me on every aspect of the machine. I began to get annoyed when he wouldn't sell me a computer as advertised in a local paper. I finally had him put something on paper aside from his random scribbles justifying the rising price. Though the price was several hundred dollars higher than I had hoped,I agreed to order it as I was in need of the computer for work. He told me to come back in three days so I did. At this point he told me the unit would not be ready until early the following week. I was getting a bit impatient and behind in my work, but I agreed. I called back the next week and was told that there had been a problem getting the monitor, call back on Friday he says, at this point my work became frustrated and purchased another computer for me. As I had been waiting a week and a half and kept getting delayed I tried to cancel my order. Only to be told that he was going to charge me a $200 restocking fee, I got into a heated discussion with the salesman which I have never done before in my life. The conversation ended with me having to hang up the phone as he would not concede that I had any right not to purchase this computer. So, in short don't make the same mistake I did, avoid the headaches and frustration of MDG computers.
