I placed an order with Classic Closeouts on September 12th. The items that I received were inferior quality which would explain their "close out" prices. I returned most of my order and it was received by them on October 7th, 2005 and signed for by a company employee. Their website states that refunds are processed 6 weeks after returns are received and refunds actually received 4 weeks after that. After constantly checking their website 6 weeks after they received the package I attempted to try and call them… but there is no phone number listed for the company. I finally found number 516-371-1123, however, this is merely a way for consumers to think they are going to receive some resolution. Every option you choose at this number leads you to leave a message and "someone" will return your call. I left 5-6 messages and received no response. I emailed them through their website "customer service" 3-4 times and receives one response after 3 weeks of waiting. I received a wonderful canned response that said that I would receive my refund 6 weeks after returns are received and refunds actually received 4 weeks after that. The same information that is listed on their website. This company is a sham. If you do not want to receive inferior quality products and have to wait ages for your refund (I'm starting to doubt that I will get one at all) DO NOT SHOP THOUGH THIS SITE!
