Target store refusing to exchange gift

Target store refusing to exchange gift I am a long time customer of Target and I spend alot of money there for all my everyday essentials, birthday gifts, clothing, shoes, food etc.
I could not believe the evening I went to the Target store in Redlands, California. My son received a pair of pants a size too small, and I went to exchange them for a bigger size. Since I had went 3 times without a receipt, Trisha, said there was nothing she could do for me, which I know is not true. She gave me a card with a 1-800 number and I immediately called and some guy answered. He told me he understood my frustration, but there was nothing he could do, it was corporate policy. I explained to him all I wanted was an, "even exchange." I did not want store credit or money back.I became so angry that I asked him if Target is willing to lose customers over a pair of boys jeans. It was soooo petty, I don't need to exchange anything out of theft. I asked him to look up my credit card and he could see my history of purchases ( which are in the thousands, I'm sure), and he would find a pair of jeans, because I buy weekly at target. He said he couldn't since I had stated it was a gift. OK, well I came to the conclusion that I was not a valuable "guest", and I stated I would do my absolute best not to shop at Target anymore. I USE TO LOVE TARGET, BUT TARGET NEVER LOVED ME. OH WELL, I'LL SHOP ELSEWHERE. I'm telling everyone, I know and word of mouth gets around really quick! __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
